1.) Describe the term ‘prototype’ and give reasons why it could be used.
A prototype is basically a example of a new design. It’s the beginning product/model when designing almost anything. One of the main reasons in starting with a prototype is mainly to deal with testing and seeing how it will look before it goes into full production.
2.) Discuss another industry other than the car industry that would use prototypes.
Another industry that would use prototypes is the toy industry. They use prototypes to see how the toy would react with various children (testing & development).
